The Legal BD Futures Forum began in 2023 as Legal BD Exec Connect, founded by Kim as a way to bring junior Legal Business Development professionals together through LinkedIn. What started as an informal drinks quickly began to grow into a supportive network for sharing ideas, experiences, and opportunities.

In 2024, the community evolved into the Legal BD Futures Forum, welcoming professionals at every stage of their career. At the same time, a dedicated committee was formed and the Forum began hosting a programme of more structured socials and events.

Today, the Legal BD Futures Forum has a growing mailing list of over 400 members and delivers regular events throughout the year, creating space for connection, learning, and the future of Legal BD.
